As we enter the New Year we want to extend our thanks to all who attended the 2009 Esoteric Book Conference be it in person or spirit. The conference was a great success, being host to wonderful contemporary speakers, and a fine selection of esoteric publishers and bookmakers. The high caliber of attendees added tremendously to the experience filling the halls with diverse conversations and opportunities for networking. Considering the wide range of folks rubbing elbows and the superb assistance of volunteers a general feeling of community was engendered. With this in mind it is our genuine pleasure to announce that we have secured the dates for the 2010 Esoteric Book Conference, which will again be held at the Seattle Center the weekend of September 18 & 19th.

As with the conference last year, we will be hosting guest speakers, authors, scholars and book people in the esoteric field. The book fair will exhibit new and rare books from contemporary publishers and antiquarian dealers, evening entertainment, and an art show featuring fine artists working with esoteric themes.

We received many expressions of encouragement, appreciation and suggestions from attendees and we are always interested in any feedback you may have about the first as well as future conferences. Please feel free to send any comments, as we are keen to consider ideas or inspirations that the community may have.

Planning activities for the 2010 Esoteric Book Conference are underway. We are in the process of arranging for promotion, the book fair, line up of speakers, artists and entertainment. We will keep those of you who are on the mailing list informed as the details come together. In the meantime we are putting out a call for proposals, vendors and artists.
